The Neveron Help System is under going a complete overhual. This will be a long term project that will require an extended period of time to complete. Please refer to the following additional resources for help:
Help Tickets: This is the only acceptable format to submit general issues like loopholes and bugs you may find in Neveron. You can review your Open Tickets and Closed Tickets or Submit New Tickets. Documentation of any and all issues must be recorded in the Help Ticket system in order for any work to be started on it.
Forums: Neveron, Inc. never hosted a forum of its own in the past. Nic Jansma was a Neveron player long ago, and offered to host a forum section for Neveron, on his website Sarna.net. This became the official forum of Neveron for the next 10 years!
In January 2011, Neveron: The New Era started to investigate new options for the Neveron forums. A lot of time has gone into researching the many various types of forum software available, as well the coding languages used to operate each of them. Careful consideration is going into determining which forum software will work best with Neveron: The New Era as it is today, and as it will evolve in the future. A hosted forum was set up for a 1 year trial period, and after reviewing the various options to manage it, it was decided to terminate the NeveronForums.com website. Further work on a new forum has been put on hold for now.
Live Chat: For the purpose of live chat, Neveron currently uses Internet Relay Chat [IRC], hosted on the AfterNET servers.
Free AfterNET Chat Client: You can use the browser based chat client provided below for free. It was created by the AfterNET service that host the Neveron channels. There are some settings that you can customize using the IRC Menu icon located in the upper left corner of the chat window.
Mibbit Client: Another popular browser based chat client is Mibbit. You do not need to download mibbit to use it for chat, and simply offers another alternative for a chat client.
There are also many choices of clients that are downloaded directly to your computer, and offer a more robust chat experience. A simple search on Google will offer you many choices to select from.
mIrc Client: The most common downloaded chat client in use on Neveron is some version of mIrc. You can try it out using the free 30 day trial.
Khaled, the creator of mIrc, has offered a special 50% discount discount to Neveron players when you register.
This one time registration fee entitles you to a life time registration, and your license is valid on multiple devices. Should you find this client useful and decide to continue to use it beyond the 30 day trial, please be sure to register. Khaled depends on that small fee to continue future development of mIrc, much like Neveron depends on its donations.
Authenticating To Authserv: In order to take full advantage of the AfterNET server options, you will need to create a user account by registering with AfterNET.
Here are some basic instructions to assist you in using the chat client below:
Nickname: Enter a name that you want to be known as in chat
Channel: This is preset to the default Neveron Help channel, but you can change that to any channel you wish to go to directly upon joining chat.
Auth to services: Check this box to enter your AfterNet registered user account information
Options: Click on the menu icon in the upper left corner, then 'options' to adjust some basic settings for your chat session
